Sharndre Kushor is a tech entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist.

Sharndré Kushor is a Kiwi entrepreneur whose story began at a turning point in history - the year Nelson Mandela became President of her birth country, South Africa, ushering in a new era of hope and equality for families like hers who had lived under apartheid. Her parents called her their “freedom baby,” a symbol of what becomes possible when barriers to opportunity - in education, health, and life - are finally broken.

That legacy shaped her lifelong belief: when you create opportunity for one person, you can change the future for many.

As the co-founder of Crimson Education, one of New Zealand’s newest billion-dollar companies, Sharndré helped transform how students around the world access top universities. Her leadership has been recognised globally through Forbes 30 Under 30 and Woman of the Year honours in Business and Innovation.

Over the past decade, she has built and scaled tech-enabled ventures across education, mental health, and consumer impact — from high-growth SaaS platforms to mobile-first apps — all guided by one principle: technology should serve people, not the other way around.

Today, Sharndré is focused on creating a legacy of purpose-driven business, meaningful investment, and large-scale impact, using innovation as a force for freedom and human potential.
